XanaduAbout XanaduOur owner and founder Xanadu, is a meticulous craftsman who has devoted his life to consistently creating the most progressive surfboard designs in the industry. A shaper since the age of 15, Xanadu opened a surfboard factory at 17 , 1977. In 1983 he closed his factory and spent the next four years surfing all over the world and shaping in Australia, Japan, Hawaii, and California. He moved to California permanently in 1987 and shaped for a local manufacturer until establishing his own label, Xanadu Surf Designs, in 1989.
